In an interview with the Wall Street Journal in September of 2008, Steven Chu said that “gas taxes should slowly be increased over the next 15 years in order to force people to turn to alternative energy sources”.
I’ve never voted for any person to “force” me to do or make any choices, which I consider to be under my own, personal volition. So, is the U.S. now the ‘new USSR’ and the American public just wasn’t informed?
Obama’s Energy Secretary Chu went on to say, “Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe”. Which, by the way, are presently at $8 a gallon. I wonder how that’s working out for them? And how will that work out of Americans? Perhaps an Obama-created depression?
And this is the man, who Barack Hussein Obama chose to be Energy Secretary?
And just by coincidence, gasoline and oil prices started to rise?
Or was this part of Obama plan to cut America “down to size”?
I don’t believe much in coincidences. Especially in light of the facts. The fact is this man, Chu, as well as Obama himself, want energy prices to go up for American’s.

Obama is a disaster; his policy are destructive; he is a Socialist implementing his agenda and without any doubt, America will continue to suffer under his heavy handed, biased reign.
